Through our Hands On English program, the spring day camp participants will use their knowledge of English in mini-workshops to explore science through simple experiments, develop their creative skills through our interesting and unique arts and crafts activities, engage in teamwork through organized games and simple sports on the back patio (badminton, ping-pong, jump rope among others) and participate in creative physical expression through acting, singing, dancing and similar activities.

Our spring day camp is centered around the Easter theme using eggs as our primary tool – for experiments, crafts and games! This gives the children an excellent opportunity to strengthen their English expression in many areas whether it’s preparing food, playing games or giving instructions. The underlying objectives are to reinforce the vocabulary and use of English according to the educational standards for bilingual and multilingual children.

Our camp counselors are native English-speaking professionals who spend the school year teaching in bilingual and English schools with ample experience working with young children. All have university degrees and some have graduate studies in education, psychology or similar.

The camp participants will be organized into small groups of up to 8 children with a counselor according to ability and age. While the focus is on having the children communicate exclusively in English, the counselors are able to work with all levels of English ability.

At midmorning, our young participants will be served a snack consisting of juice/ milk, fresh fruit and bakery products such as muffins or cookies, paying personalized attention to any allergies and food intolerances of each child. For those children who make use of the extended hours, parents must prepare and bring a "PACKED LUNCH" each day, labeled with their child’s name, which will be kept in the fridge, heated in the microwave and served to your child at 2:30 pm. Our counselors will sit with the children to help them with their meal and ensure that it is as pleasant and nutritious as possible.

We know that you, like us, are concerned about security. So please know that in addition to dedicated and experienced personnel; spacious and comfortable facilities; safe and secure premises, all children who attend the camp will have individual accident insurance and health care coverage.

The activities of this spring day camp will take place in our facilities adjacent to the Plaza de Castilla and Chamartin in the Tetuán district. It is an ample and comfortable academy with a spacious activities room as well as a back patio. We have exclusive use of the patio which can only be accessed through the academy. The children are in a completely protected and secure environment at all times continuously monitored by our staff.

These facilities can be visited at any time from Monday to Friday from 16.30 to 20h.
